Top 5 Reference Apps Performance in Denmark Q3 2025

In the third quarter of 2025, the top reference apps in Denmark showed varied performance across downloads, revenue, and active users as reported by Sensor Tower.

Google Translate maintained a steady download rate, peaking at about 6.4K in early July. However, the app saw a gradual decline in active users from 410K to 327K by the end of September.

Merlin Bird ID by Cornell Lab experienced a notable decrease in downloads, starting at 5.1K in mid-July and dropping to 654 by the end of September. Active users followed a similar trend, decreasing from 51K to 27.6K.

Bird Sounds Identifier Call ID showed a decline in revenue from $939 to $71 over the quarter. Downloads also decreased, starting at 2.2K in mid-July and ending at 218 in late September, with active users slightly declining from 5.4K to 4K.

Night Sky saw an increase in revenue, reaching $858 in early September. Downloads peaked at 1.4K in September, while active users showed a modest increase, peaking at 3.1K in mid-August.

MyHeritage: Family Tree & DNA displayed a stable performance with revenue peaking at $5K in late September. Downloads showed a gradual increase, reaching 819 in early September, while active users remained relatively stable around 2.2K.
